  • Global smartphone 835million smartphone subscribers vs. 5.6 billion mobile phone users (Slide 14). Smartphone users to grow to 1.4 billion users in next 2 years (Slide 52)
  • The growth of iPad after launch has far surpassed both iPod, and iPhone shipments (Slide 15)
  • Android phone adoption has ramped even faster than the iPhone (Slide 16)
  • Its still a 2 horse race in smartphones: Apple iPhone with 129million  and Google Android 152 million shipments (Q2:10) and Apple iPad 29 million vs. Amazon Kindle 16 million (Slide 17)
  • Mobile search is growing rapidly, with Google US mobile queries seeing x4 growth in the past year (Slide 19)
  • Mobile app and mobile advertising revenue expected to reach $12 billion by the end of 2011 (Slide 21)
