The MHRA back in July, published guidance on the inclusion of QR codes on labelling and patient information leaflets. The inclusion of QR codes is permitted under Article 62 of Council Directive 2001/83/EC.
All though QR codes are not statutory, they do provide a useful way of linking to additional patient support materials. However I would always say, ensure the site you are linking to is optimised for mobile.
