SOCIAL

With 500mn users of Facebook and 130mn tweets per day, social media is often discussed but rarely used well by healthcare companies. At Bluelight our approach is to focus on developing social media strategies, rather than specific social activities or the latest “hot” channel. Social channels can provide opportunities to obtain new insights, develop quality content and tools which will benefit all stakeholders in the healthcare space. Understanding how healthcare professionals, public and patients are engaging with content, as well as understanding the complex regulatory environment, will ensure an effective, imaginative and code compliant social media presence.

How to develop and deliver engaging and compliant healthcare digital communications

It is now nearly one year since the PMCPA released Digital Guidelines to go alongside the ABPI Code of Practice. Really excited to see the ’Thought Leadership’ film – Social Media in Pharma’ released today.  I was interviewed by the team at Red Sky Vision, very slick production, and obvious ‘should have said that’ feeling after I left the interview.  Social Media in Pharma from Red Sky Vision on Vimeo.
