BlueLight adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0, a set of guidelines that is used to ensure web sites are designed and written in a way that makes them accessible to everyone.
- Headings are used correctly to make them readable through screen readers
- Links do what they say. We don't use 'click here'
- We use style sheets to determine the presentation of our web site - this assists those using screen reading devices
- Where we use images, we use alternative text so that those people who cannot see the image can read the text. These can be read by screen reading devices
- We only use strong colour contrasts
- We do not use any pop-up boxes within the site
- Our site is easily configurable by your preferred browser to your specific viewing referencing. Settings can be changed in the tools or preferences section in the main menu
- Further settings can be changed depending on your operating system. To make any accessibility setting changes, please refer to your user documentation.
- We suggest that you update your browser regularly for a faster and more secure way to view the web. Browser updates are available from Microsoft, Firefox, Safari, Google.
